Inv. #24514
Gubelin Modernist Gold Bracelet
SOLD
Circa 1970s, 18k, by Gubelin, Switzerland. Modernism ruled the mid-century fashion world and this tasteful bracelet from Gubelin is a stellar example. The Andrew Grima-inspired design has never gone out of production, (every few years Gubelin produces a few pieces). (Ours was made in the 1970s.) Casual enough for heels and jeans, it has an artistic authority that makes it a great match for cocktails or ball gowns. Excellent condition.
Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: "Haystack modernism is an aesthetic minefield -- Gubelin makes it look like Chanel."
Condition: Excellent condition.
Weight: 64.6 gr
Hallmarks: Gubelin hallmark, SWISS, and 750 for 18k
Measurements: 6 7/8 inches long by 1 inch wide
