Inv. #23984
Tiffany & Co. Diamond and Gold Bee Brooch
SOLD
Circa 1960s, 18k and Platinum, by Tiffany & Co., France.  This woefully fat bumble bee brooch from Tiffany & Co is a delight. Crafted in rich eighteen carat yellow gold and platinum, the realistic body highlights texture and details. The wings are polished and set with brilliant white diamonds. Bee motifs go back millennia, but I think we can thank Napoleon for making them chic! Made in the quality we have come to expect from French jewels and Tiffany & Co., this charming pin is in excellent condition.
Remarks from Lawrence Jeffrey: "Nature is the wellspring of inspiration for jewelry."
